Search and sort panel (print topic)

Search and sort Click to open and close the Search and sort panel. When the panel is closed, the Address Lookup and City, State boxes appear. Open the panel to control which properties to show, and sort them. This panel also lets you save your filter/sort definitions so yo u can load it later without rebuilding it.
Auto checkbox: Reflect changes made without clicking the Refresh button.

Refresh: Apply the current filter/sort definition to the dataset and show the results.

Clear quick filter / sort: Remove all filters and sorting criteria and show the results.

Filtering fields list checkbox: Show the checklist for selecting the fields to filter and sort with. Checked fields will show up in the table to the right so you can edit the filter/sort instructions. In the picture, Price is checked and you can see it on the far right. The + sign next to Price in the header means sort the results by price in ascending order. (Although the Beds field is also checked, it is too far down on the list to be seen in the graphic.)

Output fields list checkbox: Show the checklist controlling which fields will appear in the output. In the picture, Adjustment columns will not appear.

Load… Opens the File Open dialog so you can browse to select a previously saved filter/sort definition.

Save… Opens a Save As… dialog so you can save the current definition to a file so you can reuse it in the future.

Filter / Sort definition table:

Double click the field name to toggle the sort criteria from none, to ascending (+), to descending (-). Drag cell with the field name left or right to change sorting priority. (left = first, right = last). In example, sort ascending by Price (in this example, Beds doesn’t have a sort preface character).

Enter filter values in appropriate cells, blank cells will be ignored. Properties shown must match all criteria. In the example shown, only records showing 3, 3.0, or 3.00 bedrooms will appear.
