The Strange Case On Agile Mountain

Facilitator / Author:

George W. LeMay, NHCG#38

Purpose:

This exclusive seminar follows the bizarre twists and turns of an actual appraisal performed for eminent domain. One paradox of this case study is that every licensed or certified appraiser, regardless of experience or background, should find this course both easy to comprehend, yet quite challenging. Depending on the participant mix, it can offer both an introduction and a review of eminent domain practice simultaneously.

It illustrates and reviews many diverse yet related concepts by engagingly tracing the perplexing issues one independent fee appraiser faced when theory met practice. Critical thinking is stimulated as philosophical, theoretical, legal, ethical, and technical issues all collide in this conceptually simple, easily understood, yet thoroughly perplexing appraisal assignment. All should find this case hard to describe other than very strange indeed!

Note: Class size is very limited to ensure a meaningful learning experience for all participants.
