George LeMay
is a Certified Public Supervisor (New Hampshire Department of
Personnel 2002), Certified General Appraiser (New Hampshire Real
Estate Appraiser Board), and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in
Mechanical Engineering (University of New Hampshire 1981).
Prior to
entering the public sector, Mr. LeMay was a commercial appraiser
working for Capital Appraisal Associates of Concord, New
Hampshire. His appraisal experience spans 30 years of commercial
appraising, two decades of which was eminent domain appraisal and
review as an Appraisal Supervisor for the NH Department of
Transportation’s Right of Way Bureau.
In 2005, he
established The LeMay School of Real Estate as a vehicle to help
fill the educational need for seminars that offer practical
solutions for the real world problems appraisers face on a daily
basis. His presentations typically focus on the needs of
experienced, certified appraisers. In the spring of 2007, he
became a Certified USPAP instructor by the Appraiser
Qualifications Board of the Appraisal Foundation.
